Caption - South African Railways (SAR) Breyten loco shed at dawn with class 24 2-8-4s getting ready for another day of work on the branch to Lothair. Traffic on this line could be very heavy and double heading was quite common when traffic demanded. An hour or two later and the locos being used that day would have gone.
