Caption - South African Railways (SAR) 15F class 4-8-2 2927 heads a freight near Henneman on the mainline between Kroonstad and Bloemfontein in September 1972. In 1972 the 15Fs still had plenty of mainline work but with electrification and dieselisation gathering pace, most were reduced to shunting and pilot work across the network.
