Caption - Turkish Railways (TCDD) 45151 class 2-8-0 no.45161 is seen shunting at Irmak in September 1984. Better known as British Railways 8F's these locos acquired the name of "Churchills" in Turkey where twenty examples were put to work in various locations around the country and lasting until the 1980's, longer than the 666 examples that worked in Britain. 45161 was built by North British (24670/1941) in Glasgow and originally carried War Department numbers 522 and 362.
