Caption - Bangladesh Railways 2000 class A1A-A1A diesel no.2019 is 64 years old and seen at Chittagong Port Yard loco depot on 31st January 2018 after working a container train. This metre gauge 1100 HP diesel electric is one of seven remaining examples of the 40 original locos built between 1953 and 1956 by GM EMD at their Ontario works. With a maximum speed of 40 kph they are still used on freight and are amongst the oldest mainline diesels in the world still active.
