Caption - Turkish Railways (TCDD) 46001 class 4-8-0 no.46003 is seen at Adapazari station on passenger pilot duties. Built by Henschel in 1927, this class of 25 locos were basically a stretched version of the Prussian P8 4-6-0's that were once a common sight across Germany and other European countries including Poland and Romania. Taken in October 1977, mainline duties for these locos had finished and if I remember correctly this was the last active member of the class.
