Rhaetian Railway in winter

Switzerland - 1984

The Rhaetian Railways were always a wonderful place to visit in winter especially after heavy snow fall. This series of images were taken during February 1985 after heavy snow. At this time there were many more loco-hauled trains and the mini-crocodiles were still in common use on passenger trains. Also heavy traffic meant there were some double headed trains on the main line from St Moritz to Chur.
