St Gallen metre gauge trains

Switzerland - 1983

This album was taken during a visit in August 1983 which concentrated on some of the many private railways in Switzerland. The eastern part of the country was mainly new territory and on this particular day the metre gauge line from Frauenfeld to Wil (FW) was visited first with the remainder spent in the St Gallen area on the metre gauge St. Gallen-Gais-Appenzell-Alstätten (SGA) and the Appenzeller Bahn (AB). In addition the Trogener Bahn (TB) was also visited. Sadly I never took any photos of the Rorschach-Heiden Bahn which was the last visit of the day.
