Indonesian Railways Mallets at Cibatu - part 2

Indonesia - 1980

The branch line from Cibatu to Garut and Cikajang was the last stronghold of the Indonesian Railways main line Mallets with CC10 and CC50 classes in operation at the trime of this visit. The branch saw, for Indonesia, a good service and for enthusiasts there was always some action to be enjoyed from these massive machines. Sadly the length of the trains did not put too much strain on the locomotives.
