Caption - Vale of Rheidol Railway no.7 "Owain Glydwr" is seen waiting departure from Aberystwyth on the two foot gauge line to Devil's Bridge in August 1978. No.7 and its two sister 2-6-2T's were built at Swindon Works by the Great Western Railway in 1923-1924. When this picture was taken the rolling stock and locomotives were in British Rail corporate blue. It fell to no.7 to haul the last train under British Rail ownership.
