Caption - Western Railway (India) 2 foot 6 inch gauge WT class no.598 shunting at Pratapnagar (near Vadodara) in December 1979. This lovely 0-6-4T was built by Bagnall in 1925 (works number 2282). The main narrow gauge workshops were located here and this loco was probably shunting the works yard as well as the sidings in Pratapnagar station. In the background are the broad gauge sidings which had interchange facilities with the narrow gauge.
