These images were taken during two visit to northern Scotland that were undertaken to travel the lines from Edinburgh to Inverness, the branches to Kyle of Lochlash and Wick plus a trip from Inverness to Aberdeen. Today this area is dominated by DMU worked services although there is still some loco hauled and HST workings too.
